Unlike some of the other social media I use my Twitter profile is heavily work based. The Tweets I send and the people are follow are very much related to my day job within Educational Technology.
Working within a technology field ultimately means things can change and evolve at quite a pace and so having an instant stream of relevant material within twitter can be very useful.
I follow a range of individuals within twitter, ranging from institutional bodies to technology publications. However there are some individual accounts which I also follow, most commonly in a role similar to myself. I’ve listed the ones I’ve found most useful below (in no particular order!), who knows they may interest others in the same way they interest me!
